Most agency websites are invisible
Not metaphorically — technically. They are built on page builders that ship the same title tag on every URL, canonical tags pointing at the homepage, and four megabytes of JavaScript before a single word renders. The business pays for a site that Google will not index and customers will not wait for.
We started The White Cat to build the other kind: sites where every page is a real, indexable document, where the phone layout is the primary design, and where performance is measured rather than claimed. That is less glamorous than it sounds, and it is most of the job.
We are a small team by choice. Founder Sahil Kumar is involved in every project, and we take on fewer clients than we could so the work stays at the standard we want to be judged on.
Four things we will not compromise
Performance is a requirement, not a feature
We set a Core Web Vitals budget at the start of every project and test on mid-range Android over 4G, not on a MacBook over fibre. If a design choice breaks the budget, the design changes.
Architecture before aesthetics
URL structure, information hierarchy and keyword mapping happen before any visual work. These decisions determine whether a site can rank at all, and they are almost impossible to retrofit.
You own everything
Code, design files, domains, analytics and hosting are yours from day one. We do not hold accounts hostage, and we hand over cleanly if you ever want to move on.
We tell you when not to hire us
If a smaller piece of work solves your problem, or if your budget is better spent elsewhere first, we say so. It costs us projects and earns us referrals.
